SAINT PIERRE’S DAY PARADE

Fishing is part of Sainte-Maxime’s History. A few decades ago, it was the main activity of this town...

From 6 to 7 pm, Mass at the church
From 7to 7.30pm, Procession departing from the church to the main pier where the harbourmaster’s office is situated.
From 7.30 to 8.30 pm, Procession by boat and blessing of the fishermen’s boat.
At 8.30pm, Resumption of the Procession from the Harbourmaster’s office to the "Aire des Magnoti
At 9.15pm, Traditional dances and bonfire on the beach, followed by a big "anchoïade" offered by the fishermen’s association.
At 9.30pm, Ball by "Benty Brothers Music"
